Our program supports and reintegrates students back into the public education system. The aims of the program are to alleviate the financial burden associated with schooling, therefore improving the access to education for poor families. Currently This Life Cambodia is providing scholarships to grade 6 graduate students who had not or would not have progressed to grade 7 due to costs associated with secondary schooling. To ensure the most worthy and needy are chosen This Life Cambodia has implemented  strict criteria, guidelines and monitoring programs to ensure donor money is being effectively used and students are supported throughout their schooling.  The program is designed to be scalable, with the hope that all students who fit the programs criteria can gain access to support.



WHAT WE PROVIDE:


Our Sponsorship Program covers all the costs associated with Secondary Schooling and also covers additional expenses to keep our students in school.

GREAT, SO HOW CAN I SUPPORT A STUDENT’S EDUCATION?


This Life Cambodia offers you the opportunity to sponsor a student’s education or to support an educational program in Cambodia. $250US will cover all related costs, providing one student a scholarship and the opportunity to continue their education for one year.  It is simple, all you have to do is click on the TLC Contact Form and send it back to us with the blanks filled in and adding your interest in becoming a sponsor. We will then get back to you as soon as possible OR you can make your donation but clicking on Sponsor a Student or How To Help and following the links. Once your donation has been received we will send you a picture and the background of your sponsored child and keep you up to date on your child's progress. At the end of the first school year (September 2009)  you will receive an invitation to continue sponsoring your student for the next year until 2010.




We work directly at a grassroots level with communities and their leaders in Siem Reap to enable the most underprivileged individuals and families the opportunity to develop to their highest potential.
